Hiring a minivan with a driver means having the vehicle and the driver for a period of time, not for a single trip. You decide the route and the stops; the driver drives, waits and knows the roads.
Ways to hire
- By the hour, for meetings, shopping or visits within the city. See car with driver by the hour.
- By the day, for day trips and long days out.
- For several days, for a trip around the country in the same vehicle.
Why with a driver rather than self-drive
- No deposit to leave and no separate insurance to arrange.
- Nobody in the group has to drive in a city they do not know.
- No parking to find and no vehicle to return.
What we need to know
Dates, number of passengers, luggage and a rough plan. With that we tell you whether a minivan for 6–7 passengers or a van for 8 suits you better.
