Travelling with children takes a little more preparation: the right seats, room for the stroller and a driver who is not in a hurry. We sort it out at booking, not on the airport kerb.
What we need to know
- Each child’s age and, if you know them, approximate weight and height.
- How many seats you need and which type: infant carrier, child seat or booster.
- Whether you have a stroller, a travel cot or other large items.
Choosing the vehicle
Every child seat takes up a full seat. Two adults with two children in seats already fill a sedan if there are large suitcases too, which is why many families choose a minivan. We tell you in the quote.
On the day
- The seats you asked for are fitted before you get in.
- If you prefer to use your own seat, tell us and we leave the place free.
- On long trips you can ask for stops to eat or change nappies.
Frequently asked questions
Do child seats cost extra?
If there is a charge, it is shown in the quote before you confirm.
Can I bring my own seat?
Yes. Tell us when booking so the place is kept free.
Up to what age is a seat needed?
