On the Chubut coast, wildlife and long distances decide everything. Puerto Madryn is the usual base, Trelew has the other airport, and the two main outings lie in opposite directions: Península Valdés to the north-east and Punta Tombo to the south. This section holds the pages for the airports and for each route.
Before you choose
- Season. Whales and penguins are not there all year, and they overlap only in spring.
- Your airport. Landing in Trelew or in Puerto Madryn changes the transfer.
- Type of service. The outings take a full day and are done with the driver waiting. Entry fees and boat trips are paid by the visitor.
Trips are private, with a price per vehicle agreed beforehand, and availability in the region is confirmed when booking. Families can look at the minivan; the private transfer page explains how the service works.
