Private transfer – Ciudad del Este Guaraní Airport (AGT)

Guaraní is the airport for Ciudad del Este, although it lies outside the city, in Minga Guazú to the west, near the road to Asunción. It has few passenger flights and the offer changes. Many visitors reach the area through Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú instead, so first confirm that your flight really uses AGT.

When this airport is part of a trip

• You arrive on a commercial or private flight and need to reach the shopping district of Ciudad del Este.
• You are travelling for work to Hernandarias or the Itaipú area, north of the city.
• You need to go straight on to Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil or Puerto Iguazú in Argentina.

• Ciudad del Este and Presidente Franco. No border. On shopping days the centre near the Friendship Bridge moves very slowly.
• Foz do Iguaçu. One border, over the Friendship Bridge.
• Puerto Iguazú. Two borders, because the way there passes through Brazil.
