Private transfer – Tucumán Airport (TUC)

Price on request: we reply with the final price for your date.

Tucumán Airport is east of San Miguel de Tucumán, outside the city and across the Salí river. It is the air gateway to Tucumán province in north-west Argentina, and the usual starting point for the mountain valley of Tafí del Valle and the hot-spring town of Termas de Río Hondo. We arrange a private transfer from arrivals; availability in the region is confirmed when booking.

Destinations from the airport

  • City centre. Hotels, offices and the historic quarter.
  • Yerba Buena. A residential town on the western side, at the foot of the hills. The car has to cross the whole urban area, which is slow at peak times.
  • Tafí del Valle. Reached by a winding mountain road.
  • Termas de Río Hondo. In the neighbouring province of Santiago del Estero, along a flat highway.

How pick-up works

Book with your flight number, destination and number of passengers. Driver and vehicle details are sent before the trip. The flight is followed by its number, and your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign.

Business travel

Many trips here are for work. Company invoices are available on request, and for a day of several meetings a driver by the hour is more practical than separate transfers.

Vehicle

A sedan for up to 3 passengers, a minivan for 6–7, a van for 8. Summers are hot and wet, and the school holidays in July and January are the busy weeks.
