Private transfer Neuquén – Añelo and Vaca Muerta

Añelo is the service town of Vaca Muerta, the shale oil and gas area north-west of Neuquén city. Nearly everyone on this route is travelling for work: operator and contractor staff, engineers, suppliers, site visitors. We arrange the private transfer from Neuquén, Cipolletti or the airport; availability in the region is confirmed when booking.

The road

The usual way is Ruta Provincial 7 through Centenario and San Patricio del Chañar. It carries heavy lorry and pick-up traffic from the industry and slows down around shift changes. We therefore work out the departure time from the hour you must be at your destination.

The town or the field

Ending the trip in Añelo is different from ending it at a well site. The fields are spread over a wide area and reached by internal gravel roads, and each operating company sets its own entry rules for people and vehicles. If your destination is inside a field, send us beforehand:

• the name of the field or site and the checkpoint used;
• what the operator requires of the vehicle and the driver;
• a contact on site.

With that we confirm whether the vehicle can go in or whether the transfer ends at the gate.

Same-day visits

Many trips are a meeting or a site tour followed by the return to Neuquén. The vehicle then stays at your disposal with waiting or hourly service. Travellers arriving by air can start at Neuquén Airport.

Vehicle and invoicing

A sedan for up to 3 passengers; a minivan or an 8-seat van for work teams. Invoices for companies are available.
