The city of Neuquén is the starting point for two very different kinds of trip. One is business travel: the airport, the provincial capital, the Alto Valle towns and the Vaca Muerta oil and gas area. The other is the long drive to the northern Andes of Neuquén province, to places such as Villa Pehuenia and Caviahue. This section has a page for each. Availability in the region is confirmed when booking.
How to choose the page
If you are flying in, begin with the Neuquén Airport page. For site visits, see the route to Añelo, which lists what we need to know about oilfield access. Each mountain destination has its own page describing the road and what changes between winter and summer.
San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura are also in Neuquén province but are reached from Bariloche, so they are in the Bariloche and Lake District section. Companies can ask for an invoice; see how to book.
