The Autódromo de Buenos Aires is in Villa Riachuelo, at the southern edge of the city near Avenida General Paz. It is the circuit for Argentina’s national motor racing series and is also used for large music festivals. What shapes the transfer is its location, a long way from the neighbourhoods where most visitors stay.
Across the city from the hotel districts
From Palermo, Recoleta or the centre you cross a good part of Buenos Aires. On race and festival days the southern approaches are busy, so departure is planned with more margin than for other venues. The pick-up time is agreed on confirmation, based on the event and your address.
Large grounds, several gates
The circuit covers a wide area and its gates are far apart. Your ticket shows the access for your sector, and walking from one gate to another can take a while. Tell us which it is and the driver heads straight for the right side.
Coming back from a festival
Festivals end late at night in an area with few transport options at that hour. This is where a booked car helps most:
- A meeting point agreed beforehand, outside the closed streets.
- An estimated time, adjusted by message.
- For a festival lasting several days, the same plan each day.
Race weekends
If you follow practice and the race, leaving early and returning in the afternoon, a car with driver by the hour suits well. Groups of 6 or 7 go by minivan; more than 8 people travel in two vehicles.
