Estadio Monumental is River Plate’s ground and the usual home of the Argentina national team. It is also where the biggest touring concerts in Buenos Aires take place. You will find it in the north of the city, where the Belgrano and Núñez neighbourhoods meet, close to Avenida Figueroa Alcorta and Avenida del Libertador.
Check the gate on your ticket first
Entry is by sector, with gates on different sides of the stadium. On event days nearby streets are closed and fenced off, and walking around the perimeter takes a while. Send us the sector or gate printed on your ticket and the driver will approach from the right side, as far as the closures allow.
Football and concerts behave differently
- Matches: most people arrive close to kick-off and all leave together.
- Concerts: gates open much earlier and arrivals are spread out, but the show ends late at night and demand for cars is high.
The way back
We fix a meeting point a few blocks away, outside the closed area, and an estimated time. When the event ends you walk there and message the driver. If the network is overloaded, simply wait at the agreed point. If you would rather keep the car at your disposal, book a driver by the hour.
Aeroparque is fairly close, along the riverside, which helps if you fly in just for the event. A minivan takes 6 or 7 people in one vehicle.
