La Bombonera is the home ground of Boca Juniors. It stands in La Boca, a neighbourhood in the south of Buenos Aires, a few blocks from the painted houses of Caminito. Narrow residential streets surround it on every side, so on match days a car cannot reach the gates.
Match days: where the car stops
Police set up security rings around the stadium, with ticket checks and streets closed to traffic. Your driver drops you at the nearest point open that day, and you walk the rest with your ticket ready. Which streets close varies from match to match, so the exact spot is settled on the day.
Leave early. Roads into the neighbourhood fill up well before kick-off.
Getting back
After the final whistle the whole crowd leaves at once, mobile signal often drops and finding a car nearby is hard. We agree three things beforehand:
- A meeting point a few blocks away, outside the closures and easy to recognise.
- An estimated time, adjusted if the match goes to extra time or penalties.
- A fallback if phones do not work: go to the agreed point and wait there.
Non-match days
On other days the car reaches the entrance. Many visitors combine the club museum with Caminito, either with a car with driver by the hour or as part of a private city tour. Ask the club about visiting times and tickets.
More than 3 people need a minivan; more than 8 travel in two vehicles together.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell match tickets?
No. We provide the transfer only. Tickets are your responsibility and should come from official channels.
Can the driver wait during the match?
Yes, or come back at the agreed time. Tell us when booking, because waiting is part of the quote.
How early should we set off?
Earlier than for a normal city ride. The pick-up time is agreed when you book, according to the kick-off and where you are staying.
