Bahía Blanca’s airport, Comandante Espora, stands outside the city on a site it shares with a naval air base. It is the air gateway to the south-west of Buenos Aires province: a port and petrochemical city with universities, and beaches and hills within driving range. We arrange the private transfer from arrivals; availability in the region is confirmed when booking.
Who arrives here
- Business travellers bound for the petrochemical complex and the port at Ingeniero White, or for offices in the city.
- Navy personnel and families going to Punta Alta and the Puerto Belgrano naval base.
- Students and academics of the city’s universities.
- Holidaymakers continuing to Monte Hermoso, Pehuen Co or Sierra de la Ventana.
How the pick-up works
Book with your flight number, the number of passengers and the destination. Driver and vehicle details are sent before the trip. The flight is followed by its number, and your driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name or your company’s.
Beaches and hills
Monte Hermoso and Pehuen Co are beach towns that fill up in January and February. Sierra de la Ventana draws visitors all year, mostly on long weekends. These are longer road trips than the run into the city, so in season ask early, and book the return in the same request if you are staying several days.
Vehicle
A sedan for up to 3 passengers with suitcases; a minivan or an 8-seat van for families, work teams or bulky luggage. Invoices for companies are available. The fleet page shows the options.
