Private transfer – Comodoro Rivadavia Airport (CRD)

Price on request: we reply with the final price for your date.

Comodoro Rivadavia Airport stands north of the city, beside Ruta 3. Comodoro is the oil city of Chubut province, on the San Jorge Gulf, and most passengers arrive for work, often to continue to other towns of the oil basin. We arrange the private transfer from arrivals; availability in the region is confirmed when booking.

Destinations from the airport

  • Comodoro Rivadavia: the centre and hotels are south of the airport.
  • Rada Tilly: a seaside village adjoining the city on its far side.
  • Caleta Olivia: further south on Ruta 3, in Santa Cruz province, along a stretch that runs beside the sea. Pico Truncado and Las Heras lie beyond it.
  • Sarmiento: inland to the west, near a petrified forest.

Wind

Strong wind is frequent in this part of Patagonia. It can delay flights and means slower driving on open road. The flight is followed by its number, and on longer trips the timing includes a margin.

How it is organised

  1. Book with the flight number, destination and number of passengers.
  2. Driver and vehicle details are sent before the trip.
  3. Your driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name or your company’s.

For crews who arrive and leave on fixed days, all the trips can be quoted together. Invoices for companies are available.

Vehicle

A sedan for up to 3 passengers; a minivan or an 8-seat van for groups with work bags. Outside the city, distances are long and services few, so ask for a stop before setting off if you need one.
