La Boca is the old port neighbourhood in the south of the city, known for Caminito and for La Bombonera, the Boca Juniors stadium. It is mostly visited during the day and has few hotels, so an airport transfer here is nearly always part of a visit and not an arrival at your accommodation.
When it makes sense to come straight from the airport
- A long layover, or an early arrival before check-in: you see the neighbourhood with your suitcases in the vehicle, using the hourly service.
- A match at La Bombonera on the day you land.
- A stay with a family or in an apartment in the neighbourhood.
Where the car drops you at Caminito
Caminito and the blocks around it are for pedestrians only. The driver drops you at a nearby corner, and before you get out you agree where and when to meet again.
Match days
Streets around the stadium are closed several hours before the game. The vehicle goes as far as the closures allow and the rest is on foot. For the return, the meeting point is a few blocks away, agreed in advance, and getting out can take a while.
The two airports
The motorway towards Ezeiza starts close to the neighbourhood. Aeroparque is nearer in distance, but the route passes through the central area and depends on traffic.

Frequently asked questions
Can I leave my suitcases in the vehicle while I walk around Caminito?
Yes, if you book the hourly service or a transfer with waiting. The luggage stays in the vehicle with the driver.
Can you collect me after a match?
Yes. We agree a point a few blocks from the stadium beforehand, because the nearest streets stay closed for a while.
Which airport is closer to La Boca?
Aeroparque, in distance. Towards Ezeiza the motorway exit is direct.
