Bariloche Airport sits east of the town, out on the steppe, in Río Negro province. It is where most visitors to Bariloche, Cerro Catedral, Llao Llao and Villa La Angostura land. We arrange a private transfer from arrivals to your accommodation; availability in the region is confirmed when booking.
Meeting your driver
- Book with your flight number, the number of passengers and the name or address of where you are staying.
- Driver and vehicle details are sent before the trip.
- The flight is followed by its number. Once you have your luggage, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
Where transfers go from here
- Town centre and Avenida Bustillo: the centre and the lakeside hotels lie west of the airport, so the car crosses or skirts the town. In high season that stretch is slow.
- Cerro Catedral: for guests staying at the foot of the ski resort.
- Villa La Angostura: the road heads east through Dina Huapi and does not enter Bariloche.
- El Bolsón: south, along a mountain road.
Winter and peak periods
The area has two busy seasons: winter, with skiing and the July school holidays, and summer in January and February. Snow can delay or divert flights and slows the roads down. Road conditions are checked before each trip.
Choosing the vehicle
A sedan takes up to 3 passengers with ordinary suitcases. With ski bags, snowboards or trekking backpacks, ask for a minivan or an 8-seat van, and tell us how many long items you carry.

What if snow diverts my flight to another airport?
Message us as soon as you know. We see whether the transfer can be rearranged and confirm the options with you.
Do skis fit in a sedan?
Long ski bags usually need more room than a normal boot offers. If you bring your own gear, ask for a minivan and tell us how many bags.
Is my hotel on Avenida Bustillo far from the airport?
It is on the opposite side of town, so the trip depends on traffic through Bariloche. We suggest the pick-up time for your return flight when we confirm.
