People who arrive to stay for several months bring a different amount of luggage: several suitcases each, boxes, sometimes a bicycle or a pet. The transfer is planned around that volume, not only around the number of passengers.
What this service is and is not
It is a private passenger transfer with a lot of luggage, from the airport to your flat, or the other way round when your stay ends. It is not a removals service: we do not carry furniture, appliances or cargo without passengers, and the driver does not dismantle or pack anything. Everything that travels has to fit inside the vehicle.
What we need to know
- How many people are travelling and whether any children need a seat.
- How many large suitcases, how many carry-on bags and how many boxes or holdalls.
- Whether there are long or fragile items: a boxed bicycle, an instrument, a monitor.
- Whether a pet is travelling, and how.
- The exact address and whether the building has a doorman or set entry hours.
A photo of all the luggage together helps more than any description.
How it is organised
With those details we suggest a van or a second vehicle when needed, and put it in writing in the quote. If you arrive by air, the driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name and follows the flight by its number. You receive the driver and vehicle details before the trip.
A long stay usually brings other trips: a day of paperwork with several stops, which is what a driver by the hour is for, or a journey out of the city.

No. We carry people with their luggage; furniture and cargo need a removals company.
What if the suitcases do not fit in one vehicle?
We suggest a larger vehicle or a second one, and that is shown in the quote before you confirm.

Yes, if you tell us when booking. Give us the species, the size and whether it travels in a carrier.
