Private transfer from Buenos Aires to La Plata

La Plata is the capital of Buenos Aires province, a separate city from Buenos Aires itself. It was laid out to a plan, with numbered streets, diagonals and squares, and people go there for work as much as for sightseeing. The drive is almost entirely by motorway, and the driver takes you to the door.

Reasons to go

• Official business: provincial ministries, courts and government offices are based here.
• The university: conferences, exams and graduation ceremonies at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
• Sightseeing: the neo-Gothic cathedral facing Plaza Moreno, and the Museo de La Plata, a natural science museum inside the Paseo del Bosque park.
• With children: República de los Niños, a theme park in Gonnet, shortly before you reach the city.

One way, return with waiting, or a driver for the day

For a meeting or an appointment, a return trip with waiting works well: the driver drops you off, waits and brings you back when you finish. If you want to make several stops, look at the car with driver by the hour. If you are staying overnight, book each leg separately.

Things to plan for

On working days the motorway is heavy towards Buenos Aires in the morning and towards La Plata in the late afternoon. Tell us when you need to arrive and we suggest a departure time.

The cathedral and the museum are at different points of the central axis. With the driver you move between them without walking the whole way.

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers, a minivan 6 or 7, and a van 8. For a larger party we arrange two vehicles travelling together.
