Private transfer from Buenos Aires to San Pedro

San Pedro sits on high bluffs above the Paraná river in the north of Buenos Aires province. Argentines go there to rest by the water: river viewpoints, a waterfront, fishing, boat trips, orange and peach orchards, and a local pastry called ensaimada. It is one of the farther destinations in this group, so most people stay a night or two.

Overnight or day trip

For a stay, book two transfers: one on the day you arrive and one on the day you leave. A day trip is possible as a return with waiting, but it makes a long day and calls for an early start. To move between the town and Vuelta de Obligado, ask about a car with driver by the hour.

The road

The route follows the Panamericana and continues on Ruta 9, the motorway between Buenos Aires and Rosario. It carries many lorries. On long weekends it is busy leaving the capital at the start and returning at the end. Stops on the way are agreed when you book.

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers, a minivan 6 or 7, and a van 8. Fishing gear and cool boxes go in the boot.
