San Fernando is the general aviation airport of Buenos Aires, in the northern suburbs of the metropolitan area. It handles private and executive flights, air taxis and flight schools rather than scheduled airlines, so a transfer here is planned around the time your operator gives you, not around an arrivals board.
Where you meet your driver
There is no single arrivals hall of the kind you find at Ezeiza or Aeroparque. Each flight is handled at the hangar or base of its operator, and the meeting point follows from that.
- When booking, send us the name of the operator or hangar, the aircraft registration if you have it, and the expected landing time.
- We agree the meeting point according to the operator’s instructions.
- You receive the driver and vehicle details before the trip.
- If the schedule moves, message us and we adjust.
Going to San Fernando for a departure
For private flights the reporting time is set by the operator. Use it as your reference and tell us where you are leaving from. From the city the route is the Acceso Norte motorway, which is heavily loaded at peak times in both directions.
Where passengers usually go
- Hotels and offices in the city of Buenos Aires.
- The northern suburbs: San Isidro, Tigre, Nordelta and the gated communities around them.
- A connection with an airline flight at Ezeiza or Aeroparque.
- Farms and estancias in the province, with the vehicle waiting for the return.
Choosing the vehicle
A sedan takes up to 3 passengers with standard luggage. For crew and passengers together, or with golf bags and ski gear, ask for a minivan or an 8-seat van. Larger parties travel in two vehicles that leave together.

Frequently asked questions
Can the driver come up to the aircraft?
Access to the apron is decided by the operator and airport security. The usual arrangement is to meet at the hangar or at the entrance the operator indicates.
My flight has no flight number. What do you need?
The name of the operator or hangar, the aircraft registration if you know it, and the expected time. That is enough to organise the meeting.
Can the driver wait and take me back the same day?
Yes, with the hourly service or with waiting. Give us the approximate return time when you ask for a quote.
