Our Ezeiza to Mar del Plata transfer takes you from the plane to the Atlantic coast in one vehicle: the driver meets you in arrivals and heads for Autovía 2 without going through central Buenos Aires. It is mostly booked by families arriving for the summer holidays and by Mar del Plata residents on their way home.
A long drive after a long flight
After the flight, immigration and baggage reclaim, there are still several hours of road ahead. A few things make them easier:
- Stops on request. There are roadside service areas along the autovía. Ask when booking or tell the driver.
- Child seats. On request, to suit each child’s age.
- Holiday luggage. Tell us about pushchairs, surfboards or extra bags. Pets travel with advance notice.
The driver follows your flight by its number and waits in arrivals at Ezeiza with a name sign.
Summer on the coast
The Argentine summer peaks in January and February. On fortnight changeover days and long weekends the road to the coast is busy. Book early and arrange the return at the same time: on those dates a vehicle is hard to find at short notice.
Fly on to Mar del Plata or drive from Ezeiza
Mar del Plata has its own airport. Some travellers fly on; others prefer the road, because with children and lots of suitcases it saves changing airports and checking everything in again.
Mar del Plata to Ezeiza
Start from your airline’s check-in deadline. The drive is long and its length depends on traffic, especially on the days when holidaymakers head back. Give us your flight time and we suggest a departure with a margin. For a very early flight, travelling the day before may suit you better.
For a family with holiday luggage, a minivan is usually more comfortable than a sedan; a van takes up to 8 passengers. Leaving from the city of Buenos Aires? See the transfer to Mar del Plata.

Frequently asked questions
Can I ask for child seats?
Yes, on request. Tell us each child's age when you book.
What if the flight is delayed?
The driver follows the flight by its number and waits for you at the actual arrival time.
Is it worth spending a night in Buenos Aires before heading to the coast?
It depends on your arrival. Some people prefer to rest for a night and set off the next day; going straight from Ezeiza is also possible.
