Transfers to hunting, fishing and golf lodges

Hunting and fishing lodges tend to be far from towns, often at the end of a rural road, and golf resorts mean arriving with long bags and on time. The transfer is planned around two things: what the last stretch is like and what luggage is travelling.

What is particular about these trips

• The last stretch. It may be gravel or dirt, and its condition changes with rain. Ask the lodge for exact access directions and pass them on to us when booking.
• The lodge’s schedule. Many lodges receive and see off guests at set times. We work out the departure from that.
• Phone signal. It can be weak in rural areas. That is why the meeting point and the lodge’s contact are agreed before setting off.

Special luggage

Tell us what you are bringing and how many pieces: rod tubes, tackle boxes, golf bags, boots and field clothing. We choose the vehicle on that basis, and for groups with a lot of gear we suggest a van or a second vehicle.

If you are travelling with hunting firearms, say so when you ask for the quote. Permits and the rules for transporting firearms and ammunition are the responsibility of the passenger and the outfitter. At booking we confirm whether we can do the trip under those conditions.

How it is organised

If you arrive by air, the driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name. On long trips you can ask for stops, and it is worth booking the return together with the outward trip. Outside Buenos Aires we arrange the transfer from the airport nearest to the lodge. The usual destinations are listed under long-distance transfers.
