Private transfer Corrientes – Resistencia

Corrientes and Resistencia are two provincial capitals on opposite banks of the Paraná, joined by a single bridge, the General Belgrano. The drive is short, but the bridge decides how long it takes: in light traffic you are across quickly, and at peak times a queue forms.

Why people book this transfer

• The airport on the other bank: some travellers stay in Corrientes and fly from Resistencia; others stay in Resistencia and land at Corrientes. The flight time usually settles it.
• Work and paperwork: meetings, government offices and medical appointments across the river.
• The university: the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste has campuses in both cities, and lecturers and guests cross often.
• Events: the chamamé festival and the carnival in Corrientes, the sculpture biennial in Resistencia. On those dates the bridge and the hotels fill up.

The bridge sets the schedule

Because it is the only road crossing between the two cities, any hold-up is felt. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, when people travel to and from work, leave a margin. If you have a flight, tell us the time and we will propose the pick-up when confirming.

Return trips and waiting

For a meeting or an appointment it is often practical for the driver to wait and bring you back. Ask for it in the quote as a transfer with waiting or as a driver by the hour. Companies can request an invoice.

Vehicle

For a short crossing, a sedan with up to 3 passengers is enough. Groups going to an event fit in a minivan or a van, and larger parties travel in two vehicles together. Availability in the area is confirmed when booking.
