Private transfer – Posadas Airport (PSS)

Posadas Airport serves the capital of Misiones and the southern half of the province. It lies outside the city centre, close to Ruta Nacional 12, and has flights from Buenos Aires. Travellers who land here are usually staying in the city, visiting the Jesuit missions, or heading on to Corrientes province or Paraguay.

Meeting in arrivals

The terminal is mid-sized with a single arrivals area. You give us the flight number when booking and receive the driver and vehicle details before the trip. The driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name. If the flight is late, we see it by its number and move the pick-up.

Usual destinations

• Posadas: the centre, the riverside promenade on the Paraná and the city’s hotels.
• San Ignacio: the San Ignacio Miní ruins, north-east along Route 12. From here it is an easy outing, far shorter than from Puerto Iguazú.
• Oberá and central Misiones: business trips and family visits.
• The Iberá wetlands: through Ituzaingó or on to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini. See Posadas – Esteros del Iberá.
• Puerto Iguazú: the long transfer along Route 12, for those who could not get a direct flight.

If you are going to Encarnación

The Paraguayan city is directly opposite, across the international bridge, with migration control on both sides and queues that vary from day to day. Availability of the crossing and its conditions are confirmed when booking. Documents depend on each passenger’s nationality and must be checked with the official migration authority of each country.
