Private transfer – Resistencia Airport (RES)

Resistencia is the capital of Chaco province in northern Argentina, and its airport sits beside Ruta Nacional 11 on the edge of the city, with flights from Buenos Aires. It also serves the city of Corrientes, which faces Resistencia from the opposite bank of the Paraná, so many travellers pick between the two airports according to the flight time that suits them.

Where passengers go

• Resistencia: the centre, hotels and offices. It is known as the city of sculptures, with works on display along its pavements and squares.
• Corrientes: across the General Belgrano bridge. See the Corrientes – Resistencia transfer.
• Barranqueras and the port area: business trips.
• Inland Chaco: Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña and other towns along Route 16. These are long drives arranged in advance.

How the arrival is organised

1. You send the request with the flight number, the number of passengers and the destination.
2. You receive a quote per vehicle and, before the trip, the driver and car details.
3. The driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name. The flight is followed by its number.

If you are travelling to the airport from Corrientes, think about the bridge. It fills up at commuting times, and it is wise to leave a margin. We set the pick-up time with you when confirming.

Weather and vehicle

Summer heat is strong here and storms can delay flights. A sedan is enough for one or two people with normal luggage; families and work teams usually ask for a minivan. LatamTransfer is based in Buenos Aires: availability in Resistencia is confirmed when booking.
