Transfers in the Litoral region

The Litoral is Argentina’s river country: the provinces that lie along the Paraná, the Paraguay and the Uruguay in the north-east. This section covers transfers in Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, southern Misiones and Rosario: airports, crossings between neighbouring cities, and trips to the Iberá wetlands.

There are three kinds of trip here. Airport transfers are short and work as they do in any city. Trips between capitals, such as Corrientes and Resistencia, depend on a bridge and on the time of day. Trips to Iberá are long, partly on unpaved roads and at the mercy of the weather, so they need more planning.

Summers are very hot with heavy rain, which is worth remembering when you set your times. Availability in the region is confirmed when booking: see how to book. If you are heading for the Falls, in the north of Misiones, start with Puerto Iguazú Airport.
