Yes. All three apps operate in Buenos Aires and can be used to leave either airport. What shifts over time is the detail: where pick-ups are allowed, which car categories exist and how you can pay. Trust what the app shows on the day you land rather than a forum post from last year.
What ordering a car looks like after landing
- You need a data connection: airport Wi-Fi, an eSIM or a local SIM.
- Order only once you have your suitcases and are through the checks.
- The app tells you where to meet the car. It is not always the arrivals door, and you may have to walk with your luggage to a car park or an outer area.
- Check the number plate and the driver’s name before getting in.
Drivers often message or call before they arrive, in Spanish, to confirm where you are or where you are going. A translation app on your phone is enough to reply.
What changes from day to day
- Price. It follows demand. When several flights land together, in rain or at peak hours, it goes up.
- Availability. Near Aeroparque there are nearly always cars, because it is inside the city. Ezeiza is outside it, and in the small hours especially the wait can be longer.
- Cancellations. A driver may cancel a ride already accepted, and you have to order again.
- Payment. By the card stored in the app or, depending on the app and your account, in cash. Some foreign cards are declined when you add them, so test this before you travel.
Luggage, groups and children
A standard car takes up to four passengers, and the boot fills up before the seats do: four adults with four large suitcases will not fit. Larger categories exist in some apps but are not always on offer at the airport. App cars do not normally carry child seats.
Before you travel
- Install the apps and create the accounts at home, using your regular phone number.
- Add a payment method and make sure it has been accepted.
- Save the exact address of where you are staying so you can paste it without mistakes.
The other ways out of the airport
Both airports have official taxi and remis desks where a ride is arranged on the spot. The full comparison is in taxi, remis, Uber or private transfer.
A private transfer makes sense when you would rather not depend on a connection or on demand at that moment: groups, families with children, a lot of luggage or an arrival at night. The price is agreed beforehand and the driver waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name. For one person with one suitcase and an app already tested, an app car usually works well.
