Aeroparque mainly handles domestic and regional flights, and it sits inside the city, on the shore of the Río de la Plata. As a result, the passenger’s route from the aircraft to the exit is usually shorter than at Ezeiza, and so is the wait for whoever is collecting them. There is no live flight data on this page: we explain how to check arrivals and where to wait.
First: Aeroparque or Ezeiza?
Buenos Aires has two airports with scheduled airline flights, and the same city may have flights to either of them. Before you set off, confirm the arrival airport code on the ticket or with the airline: AEP is Aeroparque and EZE is Ezeiza. Mixing them up is the most common mistake people make when meeting someone.
How to check Aeroparque arrivals
With the flight number, look up the status in the airline’s app or website, or on the official website of the airport operator. If you are already in the terminal, the screens show the status and the baggage belt.
Bear in mind that “landed” does not mean the passenger is already out: they still have to leave the aircraft and, if they checked a bag, wait for it. If the flight shows as delayed, the estimated time keeps being revised, so check again before leaving home.
From landing to the arrivals hall
A domestic flight involves no immigration or customs. The passenger leaves the aircraft, collects any checked luggage and walks out into the hall. Someone travelling with hand luggage only may appear shortly after getting off.
Regional flights from elsewhere in South America do go through immigration and customs, so the exit takes longer. Their exit may also be in a different part of the terminal, so follow the screens.
Where to wait at Aeroparque
You wait in the public hall, facing the door the passengers come out of. The public cannot enter the baggage area.
If you are driving, the riverside avenue gets busy at certain times of day and stopping outside the terminal is controlled. The practical option is the official car park. If the passenger would rather take a car on arrival, the choices are set out in taxi and remis at Aeroparque.
If you would rather a driver waited
Book a transfer from Aeroparque. The driver follows the flight by its number, waits in the hall with a name sign, and we send the driver and vehicle details before the trip. For other ways into town, see getting from Aeroparque to the centre.
