Ezeiza has more than one terminal and, once you are through customs, an arrivals hall crowded with people, signs and desks. Knowing in advance where you will come out and where your driver stands saves you from wandering around with your bags.
The terminals
Ezeiza works from adjoining buildings, so you can walk from one to another: the newer departures terminal and Terminals A and C. At present all arrivals, international and domestic, come out through Terminal A; domestic departures use Terminal C and international departures generally use the departures terminal. The layout has changed several times and more building work is planned. To find yours:
- look at your ticket or boarding pass;
- check the flight status with the airline or the airport’s official information the day before;
- on arrival, follow the signs: the terminal is shown on the screens.
The route after an international flight lands
- Immigration control.
- Baggage reclaim at the belt shown on the screen.
- Customs, where bags may be put through a scanner.
- The exit into the public arrivals hall.
The arrivals area has desks run by taxi and remis companies. Beyond the last door stands the public: families, drivers holding signs, and people who offer rides by word of mouth. Those offers are not official services.
Where you meet your driver
If you have booked a transfer, the driver waits in the public hall, after customs, holding a sign with your name. The exact spot depends on the terminal, and we send it with the driver and vehicle details before the trip. Because we follow the flight by its number, an early or late landing does not change the plan.
If you cannot see the driver:
- Do not walk out to the pavement or the car park.
- Stay near the customs exit.
- Send us a message. The airport has Wi-Fi in case you have no mobile data yet.
Other ways to leave the airport
- Taxi or remis from a desk. Arranged on the spot inside the terminal.
- Ride-hailing apps. Where they may collect passengers is regulated and has changed several times. Go by what the app shows at that moment.
- Bus or shuttle to the city. Leaves at set times and drops you at a terminal or a stop.
- City bus. The cheapest way, but slow and awkward with luggage.
- Private transfer from Ezeiza. One vehicle for your group only, with the driver waiting inside.
When you are flying out
