Balneário Camboriú is the beach town of tall towers: a seafront lined with high-rise buildings, busy nightlife and a crowded summer. For one or two travellers, flying is usually quicker. The nearest airport is Navegantes; Florianópolis is the alternative.

The road

The trip leaves Buenos Aires on Ruta Nacional 14, enters Brazil at Paso de los Libres or Santo Tomé and, on the Brazilian side, reaches the BR-101 highway, which runs up the coast. It passes the turn-off for Florianópolis, and the town appears further north, right beside the highway. Stops and nights on the way are agreed with the quote. Border queues grow in summer, and we do not promise a crossing time.

Arriving

Give us the name of the building as well as the street: many towers look alike, and vehicle entrances do not always face the beach avenue. Say also whether you are going to Balneário Camboriú or to Camboriú, a separate neighbouring town with almost the same name.
