For one or two people flying is usually quicker: Foz do Iguaçu has flights within Brazil, and the airport nearest to the town is Navegantes.

The road

After the Tancredo Neves bridge the trip follows the BR-277 highway east across Paraná to the Curitiba area. From there it descends the Serra do Mar range, with bends and trucks, and continues south on BR-101. It is a full day on the road. If you would rather split it, Curitiba is the usual place to sleep.

A stop families ask for

Shortly before the destination, close to the highway, is Beto Carrero World, a large theme park in the town of Penha. The trip can be quoted with a stop there, or with the park as the destination and the beach on another day. Mention it when you ask for a quote.

Give us the name of the building as well as the street, because many towers look alike. Say also whether you are going to Balneário Camboriú or to Camboriú, the neighbouring municipality.

Border and documents

Each passenger crosses with their own valid travel document. Which one is accepted depends on nationality, so check with the migration authority of Argentina and of Brazil. The wait at the bridge varies, and we do not promise a crossing time.
