Private transfer from Buenos Aires to Federación

Federación is one of the most visited spa towns in Entre Ríos province. It lies in the north-east, on the shore of the Salto Grande lake, and nearly everyone goes for the same reason: a few days in the hot pools.

A new town by the lake

Today’s Federación was built in the 1970s, when the Salto Grande reservoir flooded the old town. That is why it is low-rise and orderly, with the thermal park inside the town and places to stay a few blocks away. Once you are there, almost everything is done on foot.

A trip without effort

Many passengers are older people, and families come with children for the water park area. For both, door-to-door travel removes the hard part: no trip to the bus terminal and no carrying of cases.

The route

This is one of the more distant thermal destinations on the corridor: across the Zárate–Brazo Largo bridges, north on Ruta 14 past Concordia, then in by a provincial access road. An early start is wise. There are no flights; the alternative is a long-distance bus from Retiro, usually overnight.

How long to stay
