The Argentine side is where you walk among the falls: in Iguazú National Park, in Misiones province, walkways run above and below the cascades and out to the edge of the Devil’s Throat. If you are staying in Foz do Iguaçu, the day starts with a border crossing at the Tancredo Neves Bridge. We arrange the private transfer from your hotel to the park entrance and back; availability and conditions are confirmed when you book.

Allow the whole day

The Argentine park needs more time and more walking than the Brazilian one. There is an upper circuit and a lower circuit, both on foot, and a small park train that runs to the station for the Devil’s Throat. Most visitors spend the greater part of a day there, so an early start from Foz helps. After floods a walkway may be closed; check the park’s official channels before you go.

Each visitor buys their own ticket. Check the accepted means of payment there as well.

Crossing into Argentina

On the way out you pass Brazilian exit control and Argentine entry control; on the way back, the reverse. Every passenger shows their own document, children included. Which document is accepted depends on nationality and must be checked with the migration authority of each country. Minors travelling without both parents usually need an authorisation. Queues vary by day and season, and we do not promise a crossing time.

Getting back to Foz

The vehicle stays at the car park by the entrance. Because the visit is long, you can either have the driver wait or agree a return time and book two transfers. If you would like dinner in Puerto Iguazú before returning to Brazil, tell us when you book.
