The Brazilian side gives the wide view: from Iguaçu National Park you face the long line of falls that the Argentine trails take you up close to. From Puerto Iguazú the transfer crosses into Brazil at the Tancredo Neves Bridge and follows the Rodovia das Cataratas to the park entrance. We arrange the trip there, the waiting and the return; availability and conditions are confirmed when you book.

What the transfer covers

Your driver takes you from your hotel to the visitor centre at the park entrance and collects you there afterwards. Outside vehicles go no further: from the visitor centre everyone continues on the park’s own buses. Park tickets are bought by each visitor and are not part of the transfer.

The visit in brief

The main route is one walking trail with viewpoints, ending on a walkway close to the Devil’s Throat. It takes far less time than the Argentine side; most people allow about half a day. The last stretch is wet with spray, so bring a light rain jacket and protect your phone and camera.

The border on the way

Going out, you pass Argentine exit control and Brazilian entry control; coming back, the reverse. Every passenger needs their own valid travel document, children included. Which document is accepted depends on nationality and must be checked with the migration authority of each country. Minors travelling without both parents usually need an authorisation. Queues vary by day and season, and we do not promise a crossing time.

Planning the return

  • Round trip with waiting. The driver stays at the car park and you leave when you are ready.
  • Two separate transfers. You fix a return time in advance.
  • An extra stop. Parque das Aves is beside the entrance.
