Price on request: we reply with the final price for your date.
Puerto Iguazú and Foz do Iguaçu sit on opposite banks of the Iguazú river, with an international border between them. The transfer is short, but it includes Argentine and Brazilian immigration control at the Tancredo Neves Bridge. We arrange the trip door to door for your group; availability and conditions are confirmed when you book.
Common reasons for the trip
- Moving hotel to spend a few days on each side of the falls.
- Reaching the long-distance bus terminal in Foz do Iguaçu to travel on through Brazil.
- Going out for dinner, shopping or a show in the Brazilian city and returning to Argentina to sleep.
- Joining a tour in Foz booked with another company.
If you are heading for the Brazilian air terminal, see the page on Foz do Iguaçu Airport.
At the border
The vehicle stops at Argentine exit control, crosses the bridge and stops again at Brazilian entry control. Depending on the day, the check is done from the car or at a counter. The queue depends on the hour, the day and the season, and grows on public holidays and long weekends in either country. We do not promise a crossing time: if you have a fixed appointment on the other side, leave with time to spare.
Documents
Each passenger shows their own, children too. Which document is accepted, and whether anything must be arranged in advance, depends on nationality and should be confirmed with the migration authorities of Argentina and Brazil. Minors travelling without both parents usually need an authorisation.
Vehicle
A sedan is enough for a couple or up to 3 people. For a hotel move with several suitcases, or for 6–7 passengers, ask for a minivan. The van seats 8.

Frequently asked questions
Can you collect me in Foz in the evening to return to Puerto Iguazú?
Yes, the return is agreed at booking. Give us the approximate time and the place.
Are there other ways to cross?
Yes: local buses between the two cities and taxis. A private transfer makes sense with luggage, in a group or on a tight schedule.
Does the price change if the border queue is long?
The price is per vehicle and agreed before the trip. The conditions for delays are set out in the quote.
