Foz do Iguaçu Airport (IGU) is the Brazilian gateway to the falls. It handles mostly domestic flights from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and other Brazilian cities, and it stands on the Rodovia das Cataratas, the road between the city and the Brazilian national park. Where people go from IGU

• Puerto Iguazú and its hotels. The usual request from travellers who fly into Brazil and stay in Argentina. It involves one border crossing, at the Tancredo Neves Bridge.
• The Argentine airport. To join flights in the two countries there is the IGR – IGU transfer.
• Ciudad del Este. Reached over the Friendship Bridge, with border control between Brazil and Paraguay.
• Hotels in Foz and along the Rodovia das Cataratas. These trips stay inside Brazil; ask us, as we confirm them case by case.

Meeting your driver

IGU has a single passenger terminal, which keeps the meeting point simple: the arrivals hall, where the driver waits with a name sign. We follow the flight by its number and send you the driver and vehicle details before the trip.

If you are heading into Argentina

You will pass Brazilian exit control and Argentine entry control. Every passenger needs their own travel document, children included, and which one applies depends on nationality: check with the migration authority of each country. The queue varies by day and season, and we do not promise a crossing time.

Choosing a vehicle

A sedan takes up to 3 passengers, a minivan 6–7 and a van 8. Larger groups travel in two or more vehicles together. The price is per vehicle and agreed before the trip. The steps are described in how to book.
