A driver for a day in Mendoza is a vehicle with a driver at your group’s disposal for the whole day, following the plan you put together. It is mostly used for winery days, when nobody wants to drive after the tastings, and for mountain outings with several stops.
What it is used for
- A day at the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú wineries, with two or three visits and lunch.
- A full day in the Uco Valley.
- The high-mountain road, or a trip to Cacheuta and Potrerillos.
- A run of meetings at different points around Greater Mendoza.
What is and is not included
Included: the vehicle, the driver and the waiting at each stop. Your belongings stay in the vehicle while you are on a visit.
Not included: winery reservations, tastings, lunches and entry tickets. You arrange and pay for all of these. The driver is not a tour guide or a sommelier.
How to set it up
- You book your visits, with their times.
- You send us the list, the address where you are staying and the number of people.
- We check that the gaps between places are realistic and send you the quote for the day.
- Before departure you receive the driver and vehicle details.
If you want to change something during the day, tell the driver. When a change makes the day or the route longer, it is adjusted as agreed in the quote. The service works in the same way as the hourly driver in Buenos Aires.
Frequently asked questions
How many wineries can we visit in a day?
It depends on the area and the times you manage to reserve. Fewer visits with room between them usually work out better.
Can we finish the day at the airport?
Yes. Keep your suitcases in the vehicle and give us the flight time so we can allow a margin.
How many people can travel?
Up to 3 in a sedan, 6–7 in a minivan and 8 in a van. Larger groups travel in two or more vehicles.
