In Mendoza almost every transfer starts in the city or at the airport and heads for one of three kinds of destination: the wineries, the mountains, or the cities in the south of the province and in neighbouring San Juan. This section has a page for each trip, with what is worth knowing before you book.
How to choose a page
- If you are just arriving, start with Mendoza airport.
- For a wine day, decide on the area first: the wineries near the city allow short outings, while the Uco Valley needs the whole day.
- For the Andes there is a short outing to the hot springs and the reservoir, and a full-day one along the road towards Chile. In winter the high mountains depend on the weather.
- Long trips, to the south of the province or to San Juan, are planned with stops and usually with a night at the destination.
If your plan has several stops in one day, the practical option is a private driver for a day.
